🌶️ Masala Recipe (Basic Curry Masala)🌶️

Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp oil or ghee

  • 2 medium onions (finely chopped)

  • 2 medium tomatoes (chopped or pureed)

  • 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste

  • 2 green chilies (slit)

  • ½ tsp turmeric powder

  • 1 tsp red chili powder

  • 1 tsp coriander powder

  • ½ tsp cumin powder

  • 1 tsp garam masala

  • Salt to taste

  • Fresh coriander leaves for garnish


Method:

  1. Heat Oil: Warm oil or ghee in a pan.

  2. Cook Onions: Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.

  3. Add Ginger-Garlic: Stir in ginger-garlic paste and sauté for 1 minute.

  4. Add Tomatoes: Add tomatoes, cook until they turn soft and the oil starts to separate.

  5. Spices: Mix in turmeric, chili powder, coriander powder, and cumin powder. Cook for 3–4 minutes.

  6. Finish: Sprinkle garam masala, adjust salt, and garnish with coriander leaves.

👉 This masala base can be used to cook chicken, vegetables, paneer, or lentils.
