🍝Creamy Spicy Pasta Recipe🍝

Ingredients:

  • 250 g pasta (penne, fusilli, or spaghetti)

  • 200 g boneless chicken (optional, cut into strips)

  • 2 tbsp butter or olive oil

  • 1 medium onion (finely chopped)

  • 3–4 garlic cloves (minced)

  • 1 cup tomato puree or pasta sauce

  • ½ cup heavy cream (or fresh cream)

  • ½ tsp red chili flakes (adjust to taste)

  • 1 tsp paprika or Kashmiri chili powder

  • ½ tsp black pepper powder

  • ½ tsp oregano or mixed Italian herbs

  • Salt to taste

  • Grated cheese (mozzarella or parmesan) for garnish

  • Fresh parsley or basil for garnish


Method:

  1. Cook Pasta:

    • Boil pasta in salted water until al dente. Drain, save ½ cup pasta water, and set aside.

  2. Prepare Chicken (if using):

    • Heat 1 tbsp butter/oil in a pan.

    • Cook chicken strips with salt and pepper until golden. Remove and keep aside.

  3. Make the Sauce:

    • In the same pan, add remaining butter/oil.

    • Sauté onions until soft, then add garlic.

    • Stir in tomato puree, chili flakes, paprika, oregano, and simmer for 5 minutes.

  4. Make it Creamy:

    • Add cream and mix well. Adjust thickness using reserved pasta water.

    • Season with salt and pepper.

  5. Combine Everything:

    • Add chicken back to the pan (optional).

    • Toss in cooked pasta and coat well with the sauce.

  6. Serve:

    • Garnish with grated cheese, parsley, or basil.

    • Serve hot with garlic bread or salad.
