🍗🥗 Crispy Chicken Caesar – A Crunchy Twist on a Classic Salad! 🥓🧀

Ingredients:

  • 2 boneless chicken breasts

  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (panko works best)

  • ½ cup grated parmesan cheese (for coating)

  • 1 egg (beaten)

  • ½ cup flour

  • Salt & pepper (to taste)

  • 4 cups romaine lettuce (chopped)

  • ½ cup cherry tomatoes (halved, optional)

  • 4–5 crispy bacon strips (crumbled)

  • ½ cup croutons

  • ¼ cup parmesan cheese (shaved or grated, for topping)

For Caesar Dressing (quick version):

  • ½ cup mayonnaise

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)

  • 2 tsp Dijon mustard

  • 2 tsp lemon juice

  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

  • 2 tbsp grated parmesan

  • Salt & pepper (to taste)


Method:

  1. Prepare Chicken:

    • Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.

    • Dredge in flour → dip in beaten egg → coat with breadcrumbs + parmesan mixture.

    • Shallow fry or air-fry until golden and crispy. Slice into strips.

  2. Make Dressing:

    • In a bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, olive oil, garlic, mustard, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, parmesan, salt, and pepper until creamy.

  3. Assemble Salad:

    • In a large bowl, add chopped romaine lettuce, cherry tomatoes, croutons, and crispy bacon.

    • Toss with the Caesar dressing.

  4. Add Crispy Chicken:

    • Place sliced crispy chicken strips on top.

    • Sprinkle with extra parmesan and serve immediately.


Serving Suggestion:
Best enjoyed chilled, served with garlic bread or as a light main dish.
